DSA FAL SA58 U.S. Made Metric Folding Cocking Handle Assembly

This folding cocking handle is designed to be a drop-in replacement for the standard Metric Pattern cocking handle. The use of this cocking handle does NOT require any modification to the rifle. It locks off of the shelf where the handguard cap meets the face of the receiver.

Machined 4140 heat treated steel.
For Metric Pattern rifles only.
Manganese phosphate finish.
Marked U.S. Made.
BATF compliant part.
Includes stop lug/catch & retaining pin.

This charging handle really changes the way the rifle feels and the way it looks. I love my Izzy furniture and parts, but I was not a huge fan of the original charging handle. Installation is dead simple, drive out a pin, replace handle, insert pin. This is one of the best upgrades I think you can make to the rifle.

Perfect fit/finish and easy install. Only tools needed are bladed screw driver for hand guard removal an a roll pin punch for the lug pin. Great addition to para model as the knob on the standard slide is awkward for sling carry. Is actually finished in black duracoat to match current production dsa fals. The lever somewhat "locks" raised (open) by friction so can remain "ready" for use like a standard cocking handle if needed.
